Salmon, Water & Wetlands: River Restoration & Dam Removal
The Crag Law Center is assisting groups aiming to restore natural stream flows and help rivers recover from human impacts. When dams are removed, rivers come back to life as salmon and other wild fish return to primeval spawning grounds after decades without access. Removing sources of pollution (including stormwater runoff and excess sediment) allows aquatic ecosystems and supporting watersheds to return to their former healthy state.
In addition to litigation, Crag assists partners and clients with other forms of nonprofit support as well as mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution.
