Goran Pope
Development & Communications Intern - Summer 2022
School: Riverdale High School
Hometown: Portland, Oregon
What brought you to Crag? I’ve always loved the outdoors, and Crag does important work in protecting it, so I jumped at the opportunity to help out. I’ve also found interest recently in legal studies, and since Crag works in environmental law, I knew they’d be a good fit for me in both fields.
What are your environmental interests? I think it’s important to defend our nature and wildlife, both for the community and the individual. Because of this, I’m interested in the protection and conservation of our land.
What will your work focus on while at Crag? As a part of Crag’s communications team, I’ll be working with the rest of the communications staff to write about Crag’s history, their victories in environmental justice, who they’ve worked with and more. All the while, we’ll also work to maintain the website too.
