Through our Emerging Leaders Program, Crag offers a variety of opportunities to train the next generation of environmental advocates. Crag staff have worked with emerging leaders at various stages in their paths – from law school to high school. For the most part, internships working with our legal team are limited to current law students or those seeking a graduate degree in environmental law and/or policy. Non-legal internships are available for those with a variety of backgrounds and usually involve working with our development and communications team.
Read about our various programs to see how Crag can help you develop your own passion for protecting the environment.
Through our Summer Associate program, Crag provides opportunities for law students to gain hands-on experience working at a public interest environmental law center with the option of earning academic credit. Law students work one-on-one with a Crag staff attorney, gaining exposure to a full case docket, engaging with clients, and producing legal documents for our active cases.
We are no longer accepting applications for our 2022 Summer Associate positions.
Crag offers limited legal externship opportunities during the fall and spring semesters. If you are a law student interested in a semester legal externship, please contact Maura Fahey at maura[at]crag.org.
