Name: Jennifer Calkins

What brought you to Crag? I returned to school after a career as an academic biologist because I wanted to develop the legal and policy skills to better protect the environment. I looked to Crag for my 2L summer because I wanted to gain experience with a group successful at engaging a diversity of environmental issues. I am particularly excited about Crag’s attentiveness to environmental justice as a component of environmental legal practice.
What are your environmental/legal interests? Environmental Law, particularly Natural Resource Law, Animal Law and Climate Change Law (including Atmospheric Trust Litigation)
