What brought you to Crag? Crag is leading the way in legal environmental advocacy. Both the team and clients are committed to fighting for a livable planet while providing access to justice for communities. This is the type of work I came to law school to do. I am delighted to work with and learn from an exceptional group of advocates!
What are your environmental/legal interests? I am interested in environmental justice, forest law, water law, natural resources, and land use. I am also interested in how those areas change due to administrative and constitutional law.
What will your work focus on while at Crag? I will have the fortune of working with multiple attorneys this summer. My initial projects have concerned national forests, endangered species, and working directly with clients. I will provide research and case support as needed.
Favorite place to recreate or be in nature: Forest Park in NW Portland, Siuslaw National Forest on the coast, and Umpqua National Forest in Southern Oregon.
Favorite book: “An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States” by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz; “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates.
Favorite thing to cook: Vegan pambazos – Mexican sandwiches dipped in a homemade red sauce.
